Overview of X-ray pulsar-based navigation methods

Abstract:

Being a novel and potential spacecraft autonomous navigation technology, X-ray pulsar-based navigation technology has irreplaceable advantages in deep space exploration, time reference autonomous maintenance. Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the background and significance of X-ray pulsar-based navigation. Secondly, the research progress of two key technologies of X-ray pulsar-based navigation, pulsar signal processing technology and pulsar navigation theory, is introduced. Thirdly, the research progress of applications of X-ray pulsar-based navigation is summarized. Finally, the development trend of X-ray pulsar navigation technology is presented and the future development are prospected.
