Abstract:

The research of applying artificial intelligence to aviation domain is decentralized and the overall design concept is outdated which result in the problem that researchers are incapable of integrating various technologies to form an intelligent support system to improve pilot's decision-making ability. Based on summarizing the limits of pilot's ability and the existing problems of cockpit and analyzing the design requirements of intelligent support system of cockpit, the overall architecture and design methods of pilot's associate program is overviewed, and the realization of each subsystem is showed. In conclusion, based on pilot's associate program, the deficiency of domestic research is given to point out the direction of future research.
