Abstract: The turbulent liquid particle flow is simulated by using a two phase turbulence model, that is, the k ε liquid turbulence model and algebraic particulate phase flow turbulent model (i.e. \{ k ε AP\} two phase turbulence model). The interaction between the liquid phase and the solid phase is taken into consideration. By using the SIMPLE C scheme and the k ε AP model, the turbulent dilute liquid particle flows through a centrifugal impeller are calculated. The influence of particulate phase on the flow field is analyzed. The calculated results and the experimental results are in good agreement.
