Abstract: A Multi-Aircraft Multi-Target Beyond Visual Range Air Combat (MMBVRAC) Real-Time Simulation System (RISS) is proposed. Interactive technology, the key to the design of MMBVRAC-RISS is discussed in detail. To solve the interactive problem, this paper proposes the data through exchange technology and relay exchange technology, which is quite fit for the MMBVRAC simulation. Meanwhile, to meet the synchronization need, the immediate synchronization technology and real-time synchronization technology are adopted and shown schematically in Fig. 1. There is a new concept, "real-time interactive simulation in network, independent tactics analysis on node", which means a pilot is able not only to take part in the whole MMBVRAC simulation, but also to evaluate strategy and tactics conveniently and independently after the simulation. The design philosophy of "independent tactics analysis on node" is quite distinctive in that Step Stamp technology is used, whereas Time Stamp or Absolute Time Stamp plays this role in the existing products. At last, the new concept and key technologies presented in this paper are verified by implementation of typical MMBVRAC simulation examples.
