Abstract:
The testing system for the thermal fatigue of a fighter plane canopy is made up of closed pipes, and is used to test the performance and flight lifetime of canopy. The canopy load of high and low temperatures in experiment is achieved by energy exchange with rapidly heating up or cooling down airflow; thus, the system consumes much energy. To solve the problem, the key energy consuming component has been found in light of the thermoeconomic principle and the analysis of numerical simulation for the system's operation. For the thermal inertia of the key energy consuming component leads much energy spending of the system's operation, it is proposed to add a layer of heat insulation on the surface of the key energy consuming component. The numerical simulation for the experiment of 100 flight hours of a certain canopy shows that the measure can reduce 37% energy spending of the system's operation.
