Abstract:

Heat transfer possibly results in the thermal wrinkling of transpiration cooling platelet for the Liquid Rocket Engine(LRE)’s thrust chamber. The rectangular sheet which has 3 freely-supported sides and 1 free side is assumed for the formed platelets. Applying Galerkin’s method, trial function satisfying the boundary conditions is brought out. Stability in the diffuse flow field of the formed platelet is analytically solved by Galerkin’s method when the thermal compressive stress affecting of the platelet is not uniform.
