Abstract: This study adopts active Lamb Wave detection technique to damage detection in composite materials, using ellipse technique in order to localize the two-dimensional damage in structure. Three methods are applied to compute the time delay between differential signal and health signal. Experiments results are conducted to demonstrate that wavelet transformation analysis has an advantage over the others for the precise damage location when Signal-to-Noise is little.
