Abstract

Abstract:

A new concept, gas column resonance, was established.The mechanism and condition of gas column resonance, the influences of some factors on resonant frequencies, and the resonant features were investigated.The results show that the resonance is connected with the movement of the shock wave.The pressure wave strength, the cooling effect and heating effect of the tube are the strongest in a state of resonance.
