A CORRECTION METHOD FOR NON-REPOSITIONING CALIBRATION OF WIND TUNNEL BALANCE

Abstract: Countering the difference between the calibrations with repositioning and non repositioning of wind tunnel balances, a new load correction method is developed. By means of the deflection measurement this method is able to correct the component loads in calibration with non repositioning to the component loads of body axes, and further, obtain the balance equations in body axes; thus it starts a new approach to carry out the body axes calibration in non repositioning calibration rig. The comparison shows that the method suggested is effective.
