Abstract: Inlet air flow distortion and surge of engine are of great importance in developing turbojet engine. The distortion of inlet total pressure of A and B type turbojet engine at simulated higher altitude testing and its measure technique are reviewed in this paper. The vehicles break down with the pop / (testing blast) in the test facility, when the engines run at lower speed. In order to eliminate this fault, a unique rectifier which is composed of a set of aerodynamic grld and a converging section is installed and tends to uniform the velocity distribution at the inlet air flow field. The results are effective. The stable un-uniform level D and dynamic turbolence level E are reduced obviously. The details of design and apecification of rectifier are also introduced.
