Abstract: The paper presents a method for determining residual stresses in plexiglass member.It provides a possiblity to measure stresses without destructihg the member to be tested.The paper describes emphatically the application of this method to stress analysis of plexiglass member by quantitative analysis of stresses in a test piece and points out the way to proceed with measurement in site test.
