Abstract: In this article, a statistical analysis for the performance of 373 acceptable engines is deliberately made and it brings forth the acceptable performance curve of the engine on the test bed.By using the method, it can simplify the engine test procedures, save the fuel and facilitate the usage of micro processors for the data processing on the engine test bed. With reference to the typical subject in flight training, this article also makes the calculation of the flight performance of the engine in steady state. This method is characterized not only by its simplicity, but also by its usability for the applications without high altitude test bed and flying test bed
