Abstract: In this paper the Hopf bifurcation theory of distributed parameter dynamical systems is extended to that of hybrid dynamical systems. Then by this extended theory of Hopf bifurcation the author makes an infinite dimensional nonlinear analysis of active suppressing panel flutter in flow-induced oscillations
