Optimization method of carrying project for repairable spares with scrap under multi-constraints

Abstract:

For the widely existed problem of the scrap for fault parts and spares carrying under multi-constraints during the mission, approximation method of availability evaluation and spares optimization for multi-indenture equipment are proposed. First, repairable spares with scrap which contain multi-indenture are converted to non-repairable spares which only contain single-indenture by omitting the maintenance time. Then, evaluation model of availability is obtained based on the additive property of Gamma distribution. Afterwards, the optimization model of spares is built with the lowest volume under constraints of availability and mass. Lagrange factors to which dynamic adjustment is made by marginal algorithm are introduced during the model solving. In actual example compared with simulation results, the approximation method is reasonable and feasible when maintenance time is less than half of the equivalent average life, which makes the average error less than 5%.
