Abstract

Abstract: The theory, structure and running process of a designed Expert System (STJLBM-1) which can automatically generate a new part classification & coding system are discussed.In CIM(Computer Integrated Manufacturing)environment,if some modification is performed on the reference system in original system and some new knowledge is appended into knowledge-base according to new requirements,a new classification & coding system suitable for an enterprise peculiarity will be created eventually.
