Abstract: A design and implementation method is put forward which is applied to digital imaging guidance loop used in dynamic simulation for air-to-air missile guidance system. By reasonably-designed digital and analog interface, and replacing the true infrared imaging seeker with mathematical model, the digital seeker can be effectively connected with the true control section of missile. Thus the flexible combination of numerical real time and hardware-in-the-loop simulation for each guidance and control component can be realized in dynamic simulation for the infrared imaging air-to- air missile guidance system. Based on the necessary modeling accuracy for radiating characteristics and movement characteristics of infrared targets, it can meet the design and debug demand for the guidance algorithm of missile. This method was applied to the research on guidance algorithm of one infrared missile and gave ideal result.
