Abstract: Aiming to build the fractal relation between the topology and performance of the minitype electronic connector with multicore strands press-in connection, this study analyzes plenty of experimental data and finds that the topology of the multicore strand after pressure deformation takes on the fractal characteristic; in addition the dimension of fractal reflects the connecting performance; and with the cores increase, the topology distributing of strands becomes stable and the effect of it on the performance decreases. The work has proved the fractal relation exists in the multicore strand after pressure deformation, and provides a method to the study of the standardization and optimization for the electronic connector with multicore strands press-in connection.
