Abstract: In the face of increasingly complex battlefield environment and mission requirements, air combat is developing from single aircraft close range mode to long range multi-aircraft cooperative mode. The form of manned/unmanned air vehicle cooperative combat can complement the advantages of these two platforms and achieve the improvement of overall combat effectiveness. But at the same time, the information that pilots have to deal with is increasing explosively, which adds a huge workload to pilots. Therefore, the role of Integrated Vehicle Management System (IVMS) is more critical in today's world where information superiority is to gain the initiative to win the battle over the long range.Based on the traditional IVMS, a novel IVMS architecture for the long-range multi-aircraft cooperative mode is proposed considering the tasks and path planning for aircrafts cooperative engagement scenario.Meanwhile, the logic and software architecture of IVMS are designed from the aspects of data interaction and hierarchical relationship, respectively.
