Abstract: All-weather, continuous signals offered by augmentation systems based on Global Navigation Statellite System (GNSS) can provide aid for aircraft precision approach. This paper first introduces the composite, basic principles and function characteristics of different aircraft precision approach technologies based on GNSS. The research progress at home and abroad is also expounded. Several hot issues such as Ground Based Augmentation System (GBAS), Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) and Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) are discussed from the aspects of system review, application status and research progress. In addition, the problems that still exist in the engineering application of GNSS precision approach technology are pointed out, and the future development of GNSS precision approach technology is discussed.
