Numerical Simulation of the Internal Flow in Lamilloy

Abstract: The numerical simulations are carried out for good understanding of the mechanism of internal flow and heat transfer in lamilloy. The results show that the velocity around the pin-fin is the highest and that the heat transfer of this area is stronger. The variation of the height of the channel has effects on the fluid flow, and leads to different heat transfer coefficient distributions. The results obtained by the calculations agree well with the measurments.
