Application of Wavelet Interpolation in Ultra-Wide Band Airborne SAR Imaging

Abstract: Wave number Domain Imaging algorithm can deal with ultra-wide band synthesis aperture radar imaging.Stolt interpolation is a key role in wave number domain imaging algorithm and is an unevenly interpolation problem.There is no fast computation algorithm. 4-4 tap of biorthnormal integer wavelet filters are constructed by solving theequation. The wavelets are used as the interpolation base function in Stolt interpolation step. There are only plus andshift operations and no multiplication in interpolation by wavelets. The wave number domain imaging algorithm dueto wavelet interpolation becomes easy to realize in hardware. The simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of thisnew interpolation algorithm.
