SOLUTION OF EXPOSED TERMINAL PROBLEM IN SELF-ORGANIZED TDMA VHF DATALINK

Abstract:

The formation of exposed terminal problems is expanded in this paper. A new method called Probability Cycle Analysis is also proposed. By defining system state entropy, duration of slots state and states transition probabilities are stated, and an evaluation method on channel throughput adopting the true value ratio of safe state to total states of the system is presented. An effective scheme is proposed and the simulation shows that the performance of S TDMA system adopting this scheme is prominently improved.
