FUZZY SYNTHETIC EVALUATION ON THE CONTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TO TRADITIONAL INDUSTRY

Abstract:

Based on the principle of comprehensive, determinable, objective, administrative, quantitative and qualitative analysis, through investigation and questionnaire survey over experienced experts, a targets system of appraising synthetic effectiveness on contribution of information technology to traditional industry is established. Through the process, a practical study on key issues over application of fuzzy synthetic evaluation method is conducted, including : experts' evaluation on the effectiveness of information technology application, relative proportion determination by applying evaluation matrix; value determination of the target system based on experts' evaluation summed and averaged, etc.. According to the results, a synthetic evaluation model is formed. The study and related findings reveal that the synthetic evaluation method can be applied both to a certain industry for its special application of information technology, and to the practical evaluation on contribution degree of information technology to traditional industries, which in turn can be a necessary support to further application of information technology and for industrial policy makers in terms of necessary data and information flow through economic and production process.
