STUDY ON SMOOTH SURFACE IN ULTRAPRECISION GRINDING HARD BRITTLE MATERIALS

Abstract:

A special purpose electrolytic power supply which is mainly fit for the small electric current and low voltage pulse/DC machining conditions, nonlinear electrolytic grinding coolant,and ELID grinding equipment for MM7120A precision surface grinder have been developed.By means of the above established experimental conditions, a systematic study has been conducted of the ELID grinding techniques of smooth surface for hard brittle materials.The influential relationship between grinding parameters and ground surface roughness has been established according to the research results.
