Abstract: A decision is defined as flexible decision if(1)the Decision Maker(DM)has bounded rationality,and(2)the preference of the DM,the constraints of the decisi on problem,and/or the goals the DM seeks for are flexible. This paper presents the coneept of flexible deci-sion,which accords with reality.An overview of the development of decision scienee is given. To solve flexible decision problems,this paper presents the maximin method,the interactive meth-od and set inclusion method.
