RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF A STIFFENED FRAME STRLCTURE BY USING BEAM ELEMENT

Abstract: In this paper, a new reliability analysis model of a stiffened frame structure is established by adopting beam element as the reliability analysis element. The advanced theory is employed to compute the reliability of the structure.The effects on the computational results of several constants c, for example, the number of element n. the dispersion coefficient of element strength VRe , the relative coefficient of element strength XG and the dispersion coefficient of external load Vs are studied.The computational results show that the model of this paper is right and the methods adopted are efficient and the results are very useful in the design of the structure.
