Abstract: Based on experimental properties of compressor under inlet distortion, the performance of twin-spool turbojet engines is studied in this paper by means of numerical simulation. During the simulation, data smoothing has been employed so as to eliminate random fluctuation of experimental data. This process is helpful for improving the convergency and accelerates the convergent speed of the computer program. The results of simulation show that the inlet distortion decreases the thrust of engine by 15 percent and increases the specific fuel consumption by 5.6 percent.
