Abstract:

The failure analysis is one of the important methods of reliability analysis and estimation of the product. In this paper, a failure analysis method based on the reliability theory for structural system is given. Then, an aircraft landing gear structural system is used as an example. Its reliability block diagram and reliability maths model are gained. And by using the dates getting through the large amount of investigation of the landing gears, the failure distribution curves are determined, Finally, the reliability during life is calculated. This method is not only simple and effective, but also economic. Therefore. this method is useful to reliability analysis, estimation and design of the structural system.
