Abstract: The ribbon samples of amorphous Co90-xTx Zr10 (T = Cr, Mo, V, W;X = 0, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12)alloys are prepared by melt-spining. DSC curves showing the crystallization processes of the ribbon samples are measured and discussed. The onset crystallization temperature Tcr and crystallization peak Temperature Tp are determined; the corresponding crystallization activation energy Ecr and Ep are computed. The Effects of adding Cr Mo V and W on thermal stability of the ribbon samples are compared. The following conclusion is obtaind:the effect of W is the most remarkable one and then that of Mo, V and Cr are in turn.
