Abstract: By using"Data-Driven"(DD)and"Event-Driven''(ED) instead of conventional "Time Driven"(TD), as the basic mechanism in the design of Executive Software (ES)for distributed real-time control system, the bus load maybe decreased and the system efficiency maybe increased by the systems. The paper deals with some critical design issues of ES, such as bus access technique, system synchronization and data consistency etc. For the reasons of using DD and ED mechanisms in implementation and simplification of several hard problems, the overhead of ES and the load of cpu are greatly decreased.
