Abstract: On ground attack missions against well-defended targets, the pilot of a strike aircraft has to approach the target area at high speed and at very low altitude to maintain the element of surprise and to evade anti-aircraft defences. Under these flight conditions, there is only little time between sightinp the target and n aching the required release point. So it is very difficult to detect and identify the target. It is necessary that ground attack systems should provide the feature of early target acquisition, the capabilities of carrying out automatic attacks and the approches for determining an attacking scope to minimize the risk oi carrying out aimless attacks. In order to solve these problems above, this paper provides a scheme for navigation/attack systems using the technique of Continuously Computed Release Point (CCRP), the main contribution of this paper is to construct mathematical models for various attack modes, the results achived are very satisfactory.
