THE NONLINEAR DYNAMIC RESPONSE ANALYSIS OF THE FRONT WINDSHIELD OF Y12 UNDER“BIRD-IMPACT”LOADS

Abstract: The finite element analysis program system VEP is used to carry out the numerical analysis of nonlinear dynamic response of the aircraft Y12's front windshield at the three points B, C, and D under bird impact condition. The weight of the bird is 0.91 kg and the velocity is 56-61 m/s. The caculated results are compared with the experimental results and it is found that the results are in good agreement except at the point D.
