Abstract:

The input of a target is treated as a constant speed linear movement superposing the first order Markov process excited by an acceleration. The non-linear state equation and linear observation equation are set up in sight-coordinate.Utilizing the extended Kalman filter makes the state equation to be linearized. Using quadratic form performace function and e-coupling method the sub-optimal control law with analytical resolution is obtained.Because the Ricca equation can not be solved analytically, and the iterative method is consuming and not suitable to the on line real time control. The results of simulation computation show that target tracking system using sub-optimal control law has higher accuracy of tracking. Its accuracy is about 10 times higher than that of classical error control system and approachs to that of the optimal control system.
