Abstract: The coupled bending-torsional deflection analysis of a laminated beam is a special kind of engineering problem. A set of finite-element mathematical formulas which differs from the one of laminated plates and shells is established in the present paper. Which the geometrical nonlinear problem of the beam is investigated, the emphasis of this research is put on the coupling relations between w bending and torsion, v bending and torsion of the laminated beam.The results obtained in the paper are in good agreement with experimented and other theoretical results.
