Abstract: This paper introduces the general development of ceramic materials,focuseson summarizing the. characteristics of structural ceramic material and functional ceramic material, and discusses the development and advantages of ceramic engine. The whole field of ceramic material has made considerable progress in recent years, but micromechanism research, mechanics properties, and component design in particular hare made great strides with the rapid development of relevant technique. It is sure that the advanced ceramic engine will be presented with a brand-new appearance in the near future.
