Abstract: This paper deals with the mechanics of the dressing process when using a rotary diamond roller to dress the griding wheel. An investigation is presented on the effect of various dressing factors on the grinding wheel performance.It was found that the grinding wheel performance is mainly controlled by the magnitude of the interference angle between the paths of the abrasive grains and the diamonds on the dresser surface.
