Abstract: In this paper, a method of interactive computer aided design is founded.It can be used to design a given type of retraction mechanism of main landing gear,which contains a complex spatial linkage causing the wheel plane to rotate about the leg axis.The dimensions and parameters of the linkage can be adjusted correctly with the method of optimization when the retracted wheel isre-adjusted to a new place.
