Abstract: The Kerosene-lamp black streak with transparent tape is a novel surface flow visualization technique. This paper discusses the technique and the feature about this surface-flow visualzation method in details. There are some advantages over the previous oil flow visualization techniques. With this techniques, it is convenient, simple and effective to diagnose and analyse quantitatively - the surface-flow phenomena.
