Abstract: A simple and convenient method is presented in this paper to determine the pivoting direction, the angle o'f rotation of the landing gear from its down toup position, and the angle of rotation of the wheel axis. In addition, the vectoranalysis is applied to elucidate the relationship between the individual rigidbody components' of spatial configurations, and the rotation matrix is obtained mainly by the use of coordinate transformation The method described is suitable for computer computation.
