摘要: 雷达高度计回波模型是设计、检验高度计跟踪算法的基础, 是高度计设计的关键性环节。为改进原BROWN 模型局限性, 从一般情况出发, 建立了一面向脉宽限制式雷达高度计的通用型回波模型并介绍了其相关的应用。该模型无论是准确度还是应用范围都比BROWN 模型优越得多, 可以满足不同环境条件、工作方式的要求, 对于高度计跟踪算法的设计、分析与检验具有重要意义。

Abstract: As the basis of the tracking algor ithm, an echo model is the key to radar altimeter design. To modify thewell known BROWN model, a new altimeter echo model and its applications are provided, which is called universalalt imeter echo model. It pr evails over the former both in precision and in application scope. This new model can satisfy various requirements and will play an important role in the design of altimeter tracking algorithms.
