Abstract: Discarding any assumptions about displacement models and stress distribution and based on fundamental equations of three-dimensional elasticity,the state equations for the ax-isymmetric vibrations of transversely isotropic annular plates are established.The exact solu-tions are presented for the axisymmetirc vibrations of single-layer and laminated annular plates with several different boundary conditions.
