Abstract: This paper presents a new method to calculate HF impedance with 'A' parameter . which is derived from the theory microwave network. and that method is applied to the network analyzer system to do short wave impedance measurements. It turns out by practice that the method not only expands the range of impedance measurements greatly. hut also can get higher accuracy of measurements on the common instruments than on the special instrument with the conventional 'S' parameter method . With this method the problem of connection of metwork analyzer and non-coaxial network is solved.
