DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DISTRIBUTED REAL TIME OBJECTS IN DISTRIBUTED OBJECT COMPUTING

Abstract:

A deep research is performed on distributed real time object technologies in the distributed object computing platform based on CORBA. By setting up object request and reply filters, distributed real time task scheduling mechanism is designed and implemented on the basis of distributed object method invocation. It gives more support for real time requirements in distributed real time applications such as distributed interactive simulation. It also presents a general solution to extend real time functions in object oriented distributed middlewares.
