Abstract: The paper presents a technique to optimize the structural parameters of a hydraulic amplifier. Results show that the sensitivity of a sample hydraulic amplifier was increased about 45~74% and response time around 17~20% for the amplifier with optimized strutural parameters. The method can be extended to the optimization of structural parameters of other type hydraulic amplifiers.
