Abstract: According to Miner's linear cumulative damage theory, a method is presented to determine the fatigue strength of a structural system under a symmetrically circulating load in an expected lifetime. This method is used for calculating the fatigue reliability of a structural system, and the relation between load and reliability is described by R-L curve.
