STRESSES ANALYSIS AROUND A PIN-LOADED HOLE IN COMPOSITE LAMINATES BY AN ANALYTIC-NUMERICAL METHOD

Abstract: This paper presents an analytic-numerical method for stresses analysis around a pin-loaded hole in composite laminates or orthrgotropic plates.The analysis is based on the model presented by the authors,and therefore the flexibility equation of the pin and the formulae of equivalent nodal forces of the hole are developed. Next, according to the contact conditions between the pin and the plate, and by using the expressions mentioned above, and the FEM, the fundamental equations for stresses analysis around the hole are established. Finally, by means of the formulae of recursion and back-substitution presented in this paper the problem is worked out.
