Abstract: This article starts from full life test load and majo deficiency mode of plunger-type fuel pump of engine, describing enabling test damages （such as contact fatigue damages） of critical parts of fuel pump by a formulated acceleration test method with increased test load to be equivalent to that of full life test, thus achieving the goal of full life test of fuel pump and greatly saving test, expenses and time. It has proved to be feasible by preliminary tests.
