A SEMIANALYTICAIL FINITE ELEMENT FOR BUCKLING ANALYSIS OF STIFFENED SHELL OF REVOLUTION UNDER ARBITRARY LOADS

Abstract: The linear and geometric stiffness matrices of a semianalytical stiffened conical shell element are derived in this paper. This element can be used for elastic buckling analysis of a stiffened shell of revolution under arbitrary loads, Two numerical examples are analyzed and the results show that this element is available.
