Abstract: A flutter analysis based on root locus method is programmed. It can be applied to a wing equipped with an active flutter suppression system. An automatic identification method of flutter modes is proposed which has the advantages of high efficiency in computation, brief algorithms and simplicity in programming. Numerical examples show that the method is feasible.
