Abstract: It is the two-phase nozzle flows. Compressed air is used as gas-phase and alumimum powders are fed into gas duct byaspiral transporter. The nozzle isatwo-dimensional one with 4b entrance and 15 exit stright wall tangential toacircular throat. In order to view and survey the side plannar walls are made of optical glass.A LDV (Laser Doppler Velomeier is used to survey the particale speed at inlet of the nozzle. The pressure distmbution along the walls and flow patterns are got. in the test.A numerical calculation which includes the coordinate transformation and computation of subsonic and transonic nozzle flow, is presented and a fully coupled procedure is given. The calculation results agree well with the test data.
